Entex’s fixed biomass systems place replace the
workload of the suspended biomass by fixing them
in the basin. The attached growth biomass doesn’t
add to the solids loading on the clarifiers.
Offloading clarifiers
ENTEX’s IFAS systems offload overloaded clarifiers by fixing a substantial portion of the required biomass on the media, either fixed media BioWeb systems or moving media BioPortz systems. The improved settling characteristic of IFAS systems also helps the overall clarifier performance.
