ENTEX’s attached growth biomass systems help resist toxic shocks by providing a biomass film with fresh biomass underneath the surface layer of lysed cells. While our fixed media BioWeb tends to have a thicker film providing additional resistance to toxic shocks, our moving media BioPortz also provides resistance to toxic shocks.
