The Moneta Wastewater Treatment Plant consists of a FlowTex cloth tertiary disc filter unit with a capacity of 500,000 gallons per day (gpd) at average daily flow and 1.0 million gallons per day (MGD) at peak flow. In 2006, one filter, model D84x2, was installed in a concrete basin. The concrete basin was designed for future expansion by the addition of two additional D84x2 filters. Future expansion to all six discs will have a capacity of 1.5 MGD at average flow.
