A tertiary disc filter was installed in 2006 at Whitehorse Village in New Town Square, PA with a design flow of 216,000 gallons per day. The two 54” (model D54x2) disc filter was designed at an average hydraulic loading rate of 3 gallons per minute per square foot of cloth surface area and provided in a painted steel tank.
