BioWeb is
cost-effective

BioWeb improves wastewater treatment without adding more aeration basins—a significantly less expensive way to upgrade activated sludge plants.

BioWeb LoopBioWeb Fixed-film Media System

BioWeb is a knitted matrix fixed-film media system used in Integrated Fixed-film Activated Sludge (IFAS) systems and lagoon upgrades. Filaments form loops that stand out from the fabric, providing countless growth sites for attached biomass. The material, geometry and design mean excellent substrate distribution and oxygen diffusion.

BioWeb is a cost-effective solution for existing activated sludge plants that require additional treatment capacity or more advanced treatment. It is also an excellent choice for space-efficient, high performance new plant design. It blends the process flexibility and advanced treatment benefits of activated sludge with the inherent stability of fixed-film systems.

BioWeb modules are easily added directly into the aeration basins.
The addition of attached growth biomass to the suspended biomass
improves both performance and efficiency of a wastewater treatment plant. BioWeb allows more work to be done within existing space.
