IMFAS

The future is now.

ENTEX has combined membrane separation and integrated fixed-film activated sludge processes in order to

• minimize membrane area
• greatly reduce overall
  energy consumption
• further reduce the system
  footprint, and
• reduce overall installed cost.

Integrated Membrane Fixed-film Activated Sludge

Now you can get ultrafiltration membrane quality effluent at a cost competitive with conventional activated sludge/tertiary filtration. With ENTEX proven attached growth media in the bioreactor and an internal clarifier, high biomass is maintained in the reactor, without subjecting the external membranes to a high solids working environment.

The low fouling nature of IMFAS-generated suspended particles allows the trans-membrane pressure to remain consistently low.
